Integrate or die! That’s the message I received from one teacher and with the increasing standards and expectations many would agree that there is too much “content” or maybe just too much paperwork?
So I have decided to integrate or die! Might die trying to integrate so many angles to look at.
Is it possible to integrate Health, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, English and Christian Studies and build a maker unit that blends technology and tinkering. Well here goes. Looking at making a PSA about Healthy lifestyles, comparing Asian and Australian Culture, Science unit Microorganisms and yeast for bread are part of food, so starting to get some links, Asian studies can focus on the cultural aspects of food and geography mapping and food sources, maybe students could design an Asian garden? too many ideas, aargh!
